Pastor Cesar Delgado

Director

Cesar Delgado was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and at 45 days old he was brought to the city of
Santa Ana, California landing in the heart of a gang and drug infested neighborhood. He was brought up in a dysfunctional, drug selling family and at an early age got involved in the gang and drug lifestyle. As a result of his wrong decisions he grew up in the Orange County Juvenile System and ultimately Cesar ended up in the California Youth Authority.

2006-Cesar, found himself living in the streets addicted to drugs and lost with no sense of direction in life and at this point lost his family. On that Saturday morning of March, he found himself hiding from the police only to be found by God. He called out to God in a desperate moment and God heard him. He cried out to God for help thereafter phoned his significant other, Claudia, asking to come back home and he did, Claudia took him in with no hesitation and introduced him to church. As soon as Cesar, was introduced to church and a personal relationship with Jesus, there was no turning back for him. He wanted more and more of God in his life and to this day he has not stopped.

September 2010, because of an immigration status Cesar, was removed from the United States and deported to Mexico, a foreign country to him due to his upbringing in the U.S. for 30 years. Seven months after being deported and in need of spiritual growth he walked into Calvary Chapel Tijuana where he was welcomed and embraced. Cesar, had a great desire to serve and God opened the doors and was able to serve, under Pastor Chris Martinez (Senior Pastor) for three years.

December of 2013 there was an opportunity to serve in ministry full time at Rancho Poiema Men’s Discipleship Center where upon prayer and confirmation Cesar and his family took a leap of faith left everything and went to serve in the mission field. The whole family loves to serve and loves what God is doing in the men’s lives. Cesar is the Pastor and Director of Rancho Poiema. He loves teaching the Word of God and discipling the men.

Cesar and Claudia have been together since 1998, married in 2006 after coming to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They have three children together Destiny, Cesar Jr. and Manny.

Cesar enjoys the outdoors and sports. His favorite teams are the Green Bay Packers, The Anaheim Angels and The Los Angeles LAKERS.
